Ibrahim Lodi, son and successor of Sikandar Lodi, built this tomb in the year A.D. 1517 on Sikandar Lodi's death. It is an octagonal chamber,
surrounded by verandahs, with each side pierced by
three arches and the angles occupied by sloping buttresses.
